"BIG GUNNER" 2007 Bay & White APHA Homozygous Tobiano Stallion, also homozygous for the black gene. Will be 15 2 hands. He is an own son of 2005 World Champion Reining stallion, The Big Gun (by Gunner AQHA Million Dollar NRHA Stallion). Will be our new herd sire standing in 2009 as the outcross on our world class reining mares (by Hollywood Dun It, Hollywood Jac 86, Shining Spark, New Chex to Cash, Lil Ruf Peppy, A Tru Rolex and QT Poco Streke) for the next 20 years of reining champions produced here at the Spotted Fawn Paint Ranch. THE BIG GUN'S SHOW RECORD...
The Big Gun's Sire is NRHA Hall of Fame inductee Colonels Smokingun (Gunner). He is a USET Gold Medalist, USEF Champion, NRHA Futurity Res. Champion and a World Champion Reining Sire. He is also the highest earning Paint in NRHA history. The Big Gun's Dam, Cactus Christy, is a multiple APHA World Champion and the dam of three NRHA Open Futurity Finalists.
There is no doubt that The Big Gun has royal bloodlines but he is also unique and priceless on his own. The Big Gun is a World Champion, a Reserve World Champion, a multiple Derby champion, a money earner and a point earner. Out of over 270 Gunner foals, there are only a handful of Tobiano sons of Gunner. The Big Gun is the only Gunner foal who is a breeding Bay Tobiano Stallion and the only one with his titles, accomplishments and heritage.
